Museum of LEGO history

Discover the history of the World’s greatest toy!

Did you know that the LEGO company is over 60 years old? We will have some of the first sets on display in our Museum.

LEGO began manufacturing interlocking toy bricks back in 1949. Since then, a global LEGO subculture has developed, supporting movies, games, competitions, and six themed amusement parks. Over 560 billion parts had been produced!

At BRICKLIVE 2015, we have an iconic museum so you could see what toys looked like ‘back in the day’. Amazing sets from the heyday of LEGO System toys – and even some ancient wooden toys that LEGO produced before they started with plastic was on display. From the heritage to the rare retro sets, visitors explored this fascinating timeline of a toy that has spanned decades.
